Part Two – Implementing and Evaluating

TASC Process
Questions to consider
Implement

Let’s do it!
Am I making progress through the plan?
Yes I think I am making progress
Am I doing this correctly? You may need to review your goal for this activity.
Yes I think I am making progress
Do I need to revise my plan? As you continue, you may discover facts that require changing the plan.
No I don’t think so, so far I am doing fine without my plan
Am I satisfied with the text/graphics/pictures that I have created?
Yes I think that so far I am doing pretty well. And I like the progress that I have made
Evaluate

How well did I do?
Did I complete the task as originally set out? Did I solve the problem?
Yes I completed the poster and I think that I did it right
Is the text as interesting or informative as intended?
I think that the text is simple and straight forward. It is not very interesting but it is informative
Are the graphics and images appealing?
The image is just a phone so it is not to complicated or confusing it is just simple
What have I done?
I have made a poster about text bulling and i have just put some useful tips on it
What have I done really well? Is there anything that stands out as particularly good?
I think the poster is quite good and I think that the writing on the black background stand out. I also think that the phone stands out
Is there anything that needs improvement? Should I go back and redo anything?
If I was to do this poster again I would probably add some more facts and maybe some more pictures. But I don’t think that I will go back and redo it because it like my final poster
Am I ready to communicate my ideas or show/display my work to others? Is the poster ready to be shown to others?
Yes my poster is ready to be put on the wall or be shown to other people
Communicate

Let’s tell someone!
Who can I tell? Who is my audience?
I could present it to my class, my family, or my teachers
What is the best way to present this to my audience?
I could either print it off, or show it on a projector screen
How do I interest other students in my particular subject?
By making it interesting not boring
Did I include the right text/graphics/images to inform and appeal to other students?
I think that I could have added more pictures. But otherwise yes
Learn from experience

What have I learned?
If I had to start this activity all over again, how would I improve my performance? Would I change my work habits? Would I use a different subject or different design? Would I only make small changes?
I would probably make a different design and work harder (not talk in class so much)
How have I improved since that last time I worked on a similar task?
I have improved a lot and I have also learned how to use gimp

Have I learned anything about my subject or about appealing to others or about presenting information?
I have learnt how to use gimp and to do a good poster
Can I use that elsewhere?
Yes I think that I can use gimp for making other posters and just for having a bit of fun
How has my thinking changed as a result of this work?
When I think I get things done much faster and also things are done better when I think
What skills have I learned and developed?
I have learnt how to do borders, layers, pictures, cool writing and heaps more because of gimp
Can these skills be applied to other subjects/activities?
Yes, I can use them for other assignments and posters
What problems did I have to solve? Were there obstacles in developing ideas, researching material, or presenting the material? How were they overcome?
I had to solve problems like finding out how to get a border and a lot more. I solved them by looking at the instructions and asking the teacher
How did I use the strengths of others to help me?
If I was stuck I would ask them to help me
